Photography is the perfect fit for me. I see beauty in nearly everything. And I’ve been told I have a skill that brings out the best in people; women in particular.
Don’t take my word for it. Judge for yourself. Appreciation of beauty is indeed in the eye of the individual. I love to test my creativity in a shoot! And your modeling experience, while a plus, is definitely not required at all.
My goals and crowded schedule dictate that I stop doing TFCD work, almost. I’ll consider TFCD if I've asked you, of course. Or if you've convinced me that I should.
I know. That sounds uncharacteristically snobbish. But I just don’t have the time, since photography will be my only profession as of July ’08. Sometimes I do last minute shoots but a week’s notice is better. More and more, I’ll have the services of a makeup artist available.
I don’t want to scare anyone away with the “no TFCD” thing. My rates are very reasonable. You wanna work together? Ask and we can prob work something out. I don’t bite….or even growl. And I suck at keeping track of time or shotz , so you’ll always get more than you pay for.

2007 in Arizona…One of the most carefree shoots I have ever had the pleasure of being on…I was nervous, but immediately I felt comfortable…He was laughing and joking with me…I had a princess crown with me and before long Doug was wearing it, not necessarily at his own volition, but wearing it nonetheless…He has no problem helping you loosen up to get some lovely shots…he has a wonderful spirit and is absolutely a wonderful photographer…He has the fine art down of being professional, while showing a lot of personality on the set. I met Doug at a Photo workshop…I noticed right away that Doug was very outgoing, energetic and easy to talk to.
I didn’t know what to expect as I had no idea how to properly work with a model. Doug shot before me. I was immediately struck by his demeanor and confidence behind the camera… he was completely at home and comfortable communicating instructions to the model…New ideas spring forth from him in what appeared to be an effortless fashion…I was impressed.. he had a gift and that was his ease with people.
We decided to hold a shoot together to get source photos for my painting project, as I’m a pin-up artist and, Doug was patient and worked through all of the pin up examples he asked for to better understand what I was looking for…his studio is very well designed…at the 5 hour shoot. Doug never stopped except to pop in a new memory card…his level of energy is one of his best traits…
Crouching on the floor or climbing up a ladder, he was a blur of energy… he gently reinforced the model’s
confidence with a “oh that’s great” or “perfect”…with 465 shots taken that day, I can honestly say that there are quite a few that will make great paintings.
Since the shoot months ago, his studio lighting has gotten more subtle and the dynamic range has
broadened … His outdoor work has also improved dramatically…he seems to continue push himself and try new things… I know he’ll continue to grow, I really

You are one of the most creative and innovative photographers I’ve ever worked with. Our first
session involved shooting at an old barn and killing ticks off of my green boots…then at a fire hydrant while a lightning storm approached…but these made for some great shots…when we shot inside you go so motivated that two more shots turned into another 30 minutes of shooting!…we produced some of the best shots in my portfolio…you’re very funny and easy to work with… I’m glad you had extra clothes and jewelry for me to add to my looks…You’re the best. And the Abercrombie bathroom was a good backdrop for yet another shot…The way you capture me is rare and always seems to work, looking at the final product…If I had a dollar for every time I had a great pose and you made me hold it, I’d be rich…you’re a very kind individual, giving me directions on both occasions…We shot my first artistic photos together and I felt completely comfortable the entire time…I’ve said this to say it was a pleasure working with you and I love all the concepts we shot…Much success in the future…and thanks for all of the amazing shots you added to my portfolio.
